Someone just reminded me that it's been a while since I made my promise to start blogging again.
Well, yes! It's been a while.
So much have happened since then. I've been on a field ex, been to Sydney and now I'm on my way to Wanaka.
Sydney was great... lots of beach time, now I can't wait till Christmas so I can spend all day in the pool. Miss the summer heaps. Waiouru is just the *hole... one minute it's so hot you think summer is finally here... then you get the coldest day. >.<"
This year has gone by so quickly... This time last year, I made the decision to make some changes and I think I've really done that. Year 2007 - I've done things I have never ever done before in my life and surprised many of my friends as well as my family.
I can't say that this is how I've pictured the Army last year... but here I'm now... in the Army... I think I'm slowly adapting to the culture. Still not sure if it was the right decision I made last year. It was definitely good to leave Colin, I was too involve and I had to break it off. Not so sure about moving so far away from all my friends in Auckland though.
I miss yous heaps... wish I can still just make a phone call over lunch and we can go to the movies, dinner etc. No appointment
necessary.
